Local Business Closures

This is a list of temporary business closures or modified business hours for businesses and public services in Lane County. I will keep this list as up to date as possible. If you are a business owner, submit any closures or changes to your business hours here.


Eugene Public Library:

  • All locations will be closed from March 14th - March 30th.

  • Many services and materials are available free with your library card via their website, including hundreds of thousands of eBooks, audiobooks, streaming movies and shows, music, magazines, and more for all ages. Find links to these services at www.eugene-or.gov/1004/Books-and-More.

Springfield Public Library:

  • The library is closed Saturday, March 14-Tuesday, March 31, 2020.

  • Community members may keep their library materials through this closure. No fines or fees will be charged during this time.

Eugene Science Center:

  • Will be closed to the public starting Monday, March 16th and remain closed through Tuesday, March 31st .

  • This includes Exhibit Hall, Planetarium and Laser shows.

Eugene Family YMCA:

  • Your Y is closed until Tuesday, March 17 at 5:30 a.m. Staff will be in the building Monday to conduct a deep clean and sanitization.

Eugene Recreation Centers:

  • Eugene Rec will suspend all programming from Monday, March 16 – Monday, March 30.

University of Oregon:

  • Final exams will be offered remotely. Classes March 12-13 will continue as scheduled.

  • For the first three weeks of spring term, which starts March 30, all classes will be delivered remotely. Plans for the rest of the term will be decided no later than April 10.

  • Effective Sunday, March 15, the UO will cancel non-essential events and gatherings of more than 50 people. Home athletic events will be restricted to participating student-athletes, essential personnel, credentialed media, families of athletes and coaches, and prospective student-athletes.

  • All non-essential university travel, domestic and international, is suspended indefinitely.

  • Campus remains open and operating under a normal schedule, including business functions, research activities, office hours, and other support operations. Residence halls will remain open over spring break with limited dining service.

Lane Community College:

  • Finals will be conducted by remote methods and students should check with their instructors. Spring term will begin as scheduled on March 30.

  • Most spring classes will be delivered by remote methods for the first few weeks.

Kick City Sports Park: Closed March 15-29th

Off The Waffle: Southtown location closed until further notice.

Big City Gamin’: Closed until further notice.

Bring Recycling: Retail Store & Donation Center closed from March 16- 31st.

Glenwood: All locations closed until further notice.


Lane County History Museum: Closed until further notice.


Willamalane: All indoor facilities will be closed until further notice.

Bill & Tim’s Barbecue & Tap House: March 17th until further notice.


Mucho Gusto Mexican Restaurants: Closed until further notice.

Oregon Election Station: Closed Until further notice.
